First Bourne has assembled a great range of mentors offering centuries of experience between them. This panel makes sure that there is expertise covered in all aspects of developing start up products and companies, from people who have all successfully done it before.
The mentors will be boosted by masterclasses from individuals giving one-off session based on their success and experience in different areas of business.

Anthony is an experienced entrepreneur and programme leader. His background is in the creative industries working in online, interactive, video and marketing – specialising in multi-platform communications. He is a skilled innovation and brand strategist and has delivered a range of UK and European support programmes these include: accelerators; investment readiness; seed funding; mentoring; marketing, incubation and young talent engagement. He founded the successful digital agency Junction K.

Jonathan Clark

Jonathan Clark has a successful career in marketing communications, and is currently the chairman and a founding Partner in Bright Blue Day, one of the country’s most successful integrated agencies. From start up to being a top 20 UK agency he has been instrumental in the growth of the business and every aspect of its success. He is also a shareholder in 2 other highly digital enterprises, one at Silicon Roundabout in London called BBDPerfect Storm and the other called In Touch, based in Weston-Super-Mare. He is a visiting fellow and a board member of Bournemouth University. Jonathan was also a branch chairman of the Institute of Directors and at the time was the youngest in the UK.

His role at Amuzo involves networking with clients and platforms, creating strategies and synergies that are beneficial for all involved. David and Lynn are also Non Executive Board Members of Silicon South which is a Non-for-profit organisation tasked with growing the digital/creative sector on the South Coast of the UK. Lynn and David are also past Directors of Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce. Previously Lynn was an Associate Director and Consultant in the Lloyds of London reinsurance market. David is an acknowledged expert in the strategy, design and delivery of Global Digital Banking including International Trade Finance and is Non Executive Director of Sage Payments Ltd, a FinTech disrupter providing payments services within Sage accounting and payroll software. Previously, David was Chairman of Bournemouth Community Finance Ltd and Global Head of Digital Banking Change Delivery, Commercial Banking for HSBC Group.

Mike Pritchard

Mike Pritchard works for global technology company EMC, as alliance ventures lead for Europe. Mike has spent the last 16 years launching ventures, alliance and products for EMC in Europe. He started life as an economist, moved into the oil and shipping industry as risk analyst settled in the high tech industry where he pioneered the use of and shareholder value analysis to win large new customers.

Mike started EMC’s service provider programme for the UK, launched one of their most successful products into EMEA based on a Belgian startup, launched their first cloud service in Europe and was part of the team that started a joint venture between EMC and Cisco in the UK.  Today, Mike has a role leading their alliance ventures business in EMEA focusing on building ventures for vertical markets across Europe including global banking, big data and block chain ecosystems and smart health.

John Dale

John has an extensive career in the creative digital sector. This includes: Director at the Royal Court Theatre; Writer/Director at BBC and ITV; Director of Studies at Ravensbourne College; Creative Director of Motional Media. As Digital Channel Development Executive, john was jointly responsible for the development and launch of BBC Knowledge. As a consultant for FCO, he has helped to grow cleantech businesses in SE Asia. As an entrepreneur, John’s companies create interactive dramas and documentaries for the European B2B market, and also interactive tools for entrepreneurs and innovation managers.

Neethu is a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA,CPA) and a versatile start-up  guru. In a career spanning over a decade, she has helped more than 300 start-ups in their journey from set up to maturity. Her core competencies include pre-incorporation advisory, business processes and  Xero based management accounting .  She founded EstherStephen Consulting to combine her passion for entrepreneurship and consulting. She runs a monthly blog featuring local companies from Bournemouth, through her website. Prior to this venture, she was Partner in Futurebooks Singapore – a boutique consulting firm where she was also the first employee. For her efforts in building the firm, she holds the title of Partner Emerita. Neethu has till date worked in five (5) countries and have been part of reputed names such as Ernst & Young (E&Y) and Protiviti Australia as well as acted as a mentor on various forums such as “Start-up Weekend”.
